An air conditioner cools the air by drawing in warm air, passing it over a refrigerant, and blowing out chilled air, and it also reduces humidity. A fan, on the other hand, circulates air to create a cooling breeze but doesn’t lower the room temperature or remove moisture from the air.
Do Morphy Richards air conditioners also work as dehumidifiers?
Yes, our Flexi Freeze portable air conditioner includes a dehumidifier function, capable of removing up to 40 litres of moisture per day. This helps reduce damp, prevent mould and create a fresher, drier environment, especially during humid summer months.
Are portable air conditioners energy-efficient?
Absolutely. Our models are designed with energy efficiency in mind, with many rated Energy Efficiency A. Features like timers, multiple fan speeds and eco modes help you stay cool while keeping your energy bills down.
Do Morphy Richards air conditioners come with a warranty?
All of our air conditioners come with a 2-year warranty as standard, giving you peace of mind with your Morphy Richards product. We also provide an extra year’s warranty if you register your product with us - it’s quick and easy to do. Our warranties do not cover spares.
What is Morphy Richards’ returns process?
Our online returns centre has made returns super easy. Simply enter a few details, follow the instructions and we’ll provide shipping guidelines (once approved).
As stated in our returns policy, we will happily refund a faulty item within 30 days of delivery. If you wish to cancel your order, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receipt and a further 14 days to return the goods. For a full refund, you must return the goods in a new, unused condition and in their original packaging.
